I've decided to buy either Volk CE28N's or RE30's in bronze 17x9 +35 for my black IX but can't make a final decision I've heard RE30's are stronger and lighter and just a little more expensive, so it would seem they would be the obvious choice. But I think the CE28N's look a lot better (although I really haven't seen any pictures of 17x9 RE30's on an Evo). Anyone have an opinion between these two wheels?

There is almost no difference in weight between the two wheels.
Check the vendor thread and you could see Aspec measured both wheels with their scale.
17X9 RE30 weighed 16.25lbs.
17X9 CE28 weighed 16.50lbs.
Does .25lbs really matter?
I say go with the style you prefer.

Personally i think the RE30's look like garbage for the most part. I agree with you that the CE's look great and I will be buying a set eventually unless something else comes out that's as strong and light

I guess the real question is how many people are bending CE28's? You never really hear about it, but people who are probably would be embarsassed to say so

Thanks for the replys. I think I will go with the CE28n's but I will be in denial and say I am buying them cause they are cheaper and not just because I think they look better. To bad it seems I'm ganna have to wait 3 months to get them (I can't find a vendor that has them in stock) but it looks like I would have to wait just as long for RE30's anyway. I am buying the wheels for my summer tires so I guess I will be running winter tires till July

Since you want bronze i would say ce28s, because the re30s only lookd good in a dark color.
