I was reading a thread about an evo that got stolen yestersay and it made me wonder just how likely our cars our to getting stolen. Do any of u guys know of or heard of anyone getting stolen. I've tried to look up info on this and so far no luck. My condolences are with all of you guys that have had ur car stolen, may thoose sons of B!@#$s that stole ur cars rot in hell.

 

i'm always scared of mine getting stolen, so it rarely leaves base and when it does, i make sure i can see it when i'm inside the store. A guy i met who now drives a WW 8 had a 9 and was stolen out of his apt complex.

 

Heaps of evos get stolen, there like a few stories here on the boards.

Many get vandalized.

 

I heard that Evo's are the second most stolen car....next to the Escalade.
Thats why if im not driving it....it's parked in me garage.

 

Bandalizing really gets me heated, people are just jealous. To me if you got a problem with ur self and want to take it out on me wait till i come outside and we can take care of it then and there don't be a coward and do something to my car when i'm not around. People have no idea of the time work effort and money not to mention pride we put into our cars not just evos but any car.

 

I sold my turbo swapped civic b/c I had to deal with the whole stolen car thing no matter where I went. Went to the track didn't drive right home, would always park on the top level of my parking garage at work in Bridgewater. I don't worry much now since I'm fully covered I sleep better.

 

Yeah a local tuner was telling me about how one of his friends evo got stolen. I heard there were one of the top stolen cars also.

 

on aol i think it said it was the 2nd most stolen because of the wheels and gauges

 

i park mine in the apt complex .. just can't wait to move
so i can park that baby inside the garage, but so far so good.

It's certainly something we all think about. The EVO is a great car and there are plenty of people out there desperate enough to either trash your car or steal it just to have one.

Just sucks that we have to deal with it. We all work our asses off so that we can have fun and play with our toys, those f*ckers can rot in hell. /rant

 

mine was almost stolen .

thats why I keep gauges to a min, an put all my electronics ( ebc, TT, etc ) in the glove box

 

I just try to mod mine to the point where it is loud as hell...that way i can hear it.....but a flatbed would own my mentality.

It is garaged with a car in front of it and 30 ninjas on constant guard

 

What the hell? It is just a car. If it is insured, it gets replaced. You panzy asses that do not drive it because your afraid it will get scratched or stolen are idiots. For crying out loud most people look at it and think what a joke, it is a ricer kid.

 

How about you give me your key. I take what i want from your car. And then you just tell insurance you got it stolen. pm me for an appointment
