Im a very happy man! I think?

Some of you may recall about 3 days ago when I was on the verge of picking up a new 06 RS. Well, the dealer was selling it to me for $29,700. I was searching the net and found a new EVO 9 in Texas at Don Herring Mitsu, and bought it instantly for $29,200! I feel like im getting an excellent deal. How does this sound?

Good deal, but will the cost and inconvenience of transporting it that many states across surpass $500? I guess if you drive it home though, you pretty much get automatic break in. I like it.

I think they are 27k at SouthCoast. 29.2k is more than the GSR costs, so i don't consider it a good deal, since you bought remotely. You could have just bought from CA instead of TX and saved a few thousand.

I would pay the extra $500 for the convenience. Not to mention that if something just so happens to go wrong, the dealer is in town.

Its gonna cost just under 500 to ship, but I have some family in Dallas, so I may drive to get it and pay a visit. After all that would take care of some break in.

The confusion stems from your first post. The 06 RS is also a Evo 9. What I believe you meant to say is that you picked up a 9 GSR instead of a 9 RS for cheaper than the asking price of the RS. Either way it sounds like you've picked up a 9 so congratulations.

Oh, if you got a IX GSR for 29.2k, then you're golden.

No, they are not 32k at SouthCoast. The IX GSR SE might be that much, but not the base GSR.

A buddy of mine picked up an MR with an SE front lip for 32K at SouthCoast. Wish I knew about that dealership and hadn't been so impatient.

SC doesn't sell MRs that cheap. Are you saying he got it for another thousand less than their incredible prices? That would be surprising.
