Why do you need new rotors after just 17k miles?

OEM pads by themselves are >$500. That's why so many people get aftermarket ones.

I had a Toyota pickup for a daily driver but it blew up, so I just purchased a '99 Prelude.

Why do that? I really enjoy driving the EVO and it's a fairly practical car. What's the point of owning it and not driving? After all, it's not such an expensive car to either own or operate. My wife's Maxima SE cost about as much as the EVO and costs about the same to operate. Many people I know and many thousands I see everyday are driving cars, suvs and trucks which are more expensive to own and operate than the EVO.....

i live/work from home with the parents so if i need to go out real quick, i'll take one of their cars to beat on so when i get in my evo it feel sooOOooO much faster. cheaper than spending money everytime i think its slow. haha

I love dd'ing the evo- all the looks and people waving is pretty funny- I just don't like the haters- had a dude in an Ram SRT 10 trying to race me and I SPANKED HIS A$$- kidding I was not stupid enough to run a vipertruck

The unwanted attn by police is also a downer
