I need FSM or brake job how-to
Sorry about this but I've been searching for the past hour and have reached the end of my fuse. I would like to know if there is a downloadable FSM for my 06 mr or be presented with the how-to on dealing with brake caliper R n R. I already have the one on replacing the pads but I am doing the rotors at the same time so some help would be appreciated. Thanks
when it comes to brakes i never attempted to do them myself. its just one of my fears, of doing about 120mph and not being able to stop because i did something wrong.
its not exactly one of the parts you want to screw up.

dam the brake pads are so dam easy. the brembos only have two rods holding the brakebads in the caliper. Second of all, you can not resurface the rotors witout the machine. Dont try to do anything to the braking system if you dont know because you can damaged the pistons and you would have to get a brand new caliper
ya dude it's a realy simple job heres the how to https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...ght=brake+pads all you have to do pretty much is take off the wheels and use a hammar and nail to punch out the pin's holding in the brake pads and take them out. pm me if you need help

No, you guys dont understand. I know the pads are an easy job. What I really need is the info on caliper and rotor removal. I know this is pretty straight forward but I need to know torque settings and the other little things that might hang me up.
Once again, is there a downloadable FSM or not? Anyone know how to get one for less than dealership prices?

Two bolts mount the front calipers. Two bolts mount the rear calipers. The front bolts are torqued to 80 ft lbs - yipes!. Dunno the torque for the rears - it is missing from my service manual. Don't let the calipers hang by the brake hoses.
As for the rotors, they just pull off once the calipers are out of the way (if a new car). After awhile they rust weld on. There are a couple of bolt holes in each rotor were you can screw in a metric bolt to push the rotor off. Sometimes that works and sometimes it doesn't.
