I bought mine in July of 2004 and put down 8 grand. I borrowed about 24 and change at the time. Credit sucked and payment was 472 a month for six years. Anyway, I doubled and sometimes tripled the payment for 2.5 years and this January 07 made the last payment. First of all anyone can do this if they save all extra cash to put towards the payment...and kill thier social life. And keep mods to a minimum until paid off!!!
BTW...I was supposed to pay 8,900 in interest on this god awful loan. Ended up paying 3,500 which made the loan something like a 4% in the end. So happy to stick it to finance.

I envy those that can pay cash for theirs. That's a lot of change to be able to plop down at once. Must be nice to be rich.
