Should i take the wing off? I have a vg but i think it looks better with the wing off. Just wondering if it will affect my performance if i'm going around 120mph.

Yes, having no wing will make a big difference at those speeds. Also, the VG is only designed to work WITH the wing. Without the wing, the VG is useless.

 

You will lose al of your downforce

 

if you are always racing your car and consistently running it at high speeds then yes you will notice a difference in the way the rear feels. But on the other hand if your a once or twice a month or weekend racer then take it off...

Dont do it, those holes will look horrible.

 

you can get the holes filled, or get an RS trunk and paint it...or if you just want to do it temporarily just to see how it looks get some colormatched vinyl cut outs and cover the holes. Did it on my VIII and couldnt tell there were holes or the vinyl stickers unless you were closer then 5 ft and specifically looking for them...

I was also thinking about taking the wing off...i think the majority of our cars look better with them on....I have however seen a few sexy evos on the forums with the wingless look and I dig it!

 

unless you are always speeding and going 120+ then take it off, it doesnt make much of a difference unless you are always going that fast. buy an rs lid or fill in the holes. wingless FTW!

 

ditto..who cares about the holes..thats what plugs are for...i left the holes because when i sell it the wing goes right back on
