Fuel Tank Question

Alright..I got tag for a short notice deployment and took off immediately (right now in transit). I left my car with 1/2 tank of gas. I didn't get a chance to fill it up or put STABIL in it. It will be sitting there for about a month, max 1.5 month. Should I be concern that my tank my rust?

No, it will be perfectly fine if it just sits a month. Have someone start it for you a few times.

would not worry about it if your only going to be gone 1-1.5 months..I was in Afghanistan for 14 months came home put some fuel restor **** in the tank and my car started right up...would not hurt if you get a few gallons of fresh fuel to mix into tank either.

I wouldnt worry about it either... when I had my civic HB I used to leave it sitting for around 6 months at a time when I was stationed in Korea.... everytime I came home she started right up... now it looks like I'll be in Iraq for a total of 15 months... hopefully it will be the same story with the evo...

Should be fine, but just disconnect the battery from the car. I forget to do that somtimes, and I have to go and buy a new battery.
