I know its probably on here somewhere but i couldnt find anything with a quick search. How much are you guys paying to have the windows tinted on ur evo?

 

I paid $120 for medium all the way around, but I got a ticket so I had to remove the two front ones. I got life-time warranty with my tint also . Some places charge from $100-$350 depending on the "quality" of the tint. But I believe tint is tint.

 

I paid $175 cash for 15% LLumar all the way around.

 

Got a local guy that charges based on what kind of tint, so i think it'll cost around 175 or 200 for what i want. A reputable car audio shop in here in the area charges 250-300 for a sedan... thats just too much.

 

Tint is not tint. Some manufacturers use crappy adhesive, and also have less heat/UV rejection than some of the other brands. The place I and everyone I know goes to uses Llumar, and out of 8 cars, none of them has had any problem. 149 after tax. I actually used to work at an audio shop that also specialized in tint. They sold 3M and Solar Gard films, and I never saw a single problem with the 3m, while we had at least one warranty claim on Solar Gard film per week. Llumar is usually a bit cheaper than 3M from what I've found, and the quality is just as good.

 

i paid close to $200 for 35%

 

Paid 95 for 5% in back, 20% up front all 3M, with the lifetime warrenty. Just because I brought a couple of friends with me to get theirs done at the same time.

 

150 for 5 windows and a front strip

 

i paid about 160 for all windows except front windshield. 20% all around.

 

$200 lifetime warranty

front is legal (35%)... everything else arounf is 15%

 

35% is still illegal in NY but they don't give you such a hard time. But regardless, if you do get pulled over, they'll put the little machine on your window and tell you that legal is 75%. damn jakes!

 

$44 dollars for any% all around.

 

Don't tint. Looks way better with out it!
