youll have a fuel cut defencer with tune and youll have more than enough fuel, trust me i run 25 psi on a 20g with just walbro 255 high flow and i still hit rich towards the end of dyno

i really don't think you'll need the walbro if you have a IX and aren't planning on running over 25psi with bolt-ons. the IX pumps flow pretty good compared to the VIII's, you should be good.

do a search on here and check it out. are these shops evo specialists or are they just trying to sell you a pump? some shops try to sell you stuff you don't need to make a buck. the walbro does flow more and it won't hurt, but i don't think it's a neccessity for you yet.

the reason why they say to do this is because you dont wnt your fuel pump reaching over about 80% max .
