stumped on what my next mod should be? please help

juat bought a 2003 evo 8. it has a br small battery kit and a hks intake. what should my next mod be. im think of only spending about $600-$1000. i was going to get a AMS cat back , boost gauge and hallman Rx MBC kit. but then i was think of getting a AMS downpipe with AMS licp. but i think you need a tune if you get licp'ing. i dont really know what to get need some advice. im all about performance and just want to get the most bang for the buck. thks

turbo back is a must! Save and get a 3" downpipe, test pipe, and cat back, MBC, and some sort of tune. You will be happy you waited and did it right. Although you really should have a tune just for an intake so I actually would suggest putting the stock intake back on and put the HKS back on when you do what I just said. If you have the stock one that is.

thats what ive been thinking. think of gettin AMS tbe with high flow cat, MBC, and a tune. Also i just bought the car last week from a private owner who already had a hks intake on it. i hear you should get a tune for any type of intake so i think i should get one soon.were should i get the tune at though? i live in baltimore MD.

P.S. is AMS performance coming to Warshinton DC for custom tuneing?

Yes AMS Chicago is coming to AMS Gaithersburg next Saturday. If you are low on cash and only can spend about a G then I suggest the TBE and MBC and go down to AMS (MD) and get a base flash at least for like $200. There is a thread on this tuning session. Search and if you cant find it, PM me and I will send you the link.
