Forgot about the immobilizer code... that could be a problem. Sucks to hear about his kind of situation. You buy a kick a** car, just to find out that the PO has screwed your kick a** car experience up. I also bought mine used about 2 months ago, and Im afraid I still havent found everything the PO did to it.

Thanks again guys, but im bit confused. I ran down to my car to check up the wire harness are connected or not after reading few replies. they are all connected not sure if they are connected correctly. What do I need to do exactly, for the immobilizer code, tactrix cable, and all that. could you explain those in steps to solve this f' problem ASAP for me? I have a hard time understanding your great helps due to my english skills (Yea slick-ix I am Korean too you f'face), or lack of knowledge about cars.

What you need is someone like Dynoflash, Warrtalon, Jestr, Etc who can chime in and help you out.

My advice would be to try and call a tuner (Jestr, TTP, Dynoflash) as they could most likely help you out better than what you would get here. Sorry, but reading info on a site like this can only take you so far, especially if you don't know for sure what is wrong.

You may want to ensure that all the wires are connected to the corect place on the ECU. If they were cut and spiced you will be able to tell, I think they are all color coded.

I would probably PM Warrtalon and ask him who would be best to get in contact with. He has far more knowledge about EVO's than I do.

The problem you are going to face right now is that it is Friday and late in the day, meaning everyone is going home soon.

A little advice when PM'ing Warrtalon: Make sure you are very precise and explanatory as to what you need. Make the PM short but very to the point and he will help you. Also, don't take his response personally if he kinda comes across as rude, it's just the way he is. Besides coming off rude or not I would take his advice over many others on here!

Here is a good tutorial that may at least help you understand what to ask about if you decide to flash it yourself.

And WELCOME.

Al from dynoflash can do eflashes or mail in's. He's in CT so the turnaround should be pretty quick.
Where in MA are you located? I have a tactrix cable and a bunch of software on my laptop we may be able to use to figure this problem out.

If this moron can get away with a comment like this i would lose a lot of respect that i have for the mods on this sight. The mods do an excellent job in my opinion, but to let this go even in off topic would not be right. Not even if he apologizes.

how about we just leave this joke thing alone? I really do not care if someone make a negative statement about the kid who did terrible things in VA, because he prolly deserves it. So lets leave the problem between you guys there. How about focusing on helping me OUT???
