I am currently looking at buying a 2006 evo with about 16000 miles on it. The car is black and in located in the tri state area. It has had one owner and has been owned for about 9 months. The car is in clean shape with only one little door dent and no paint chips. The only thing done to the car was an added boost gauge and an apexi N1 ExTi Titanium exhaust. Im looking to get it in the price range of $25000 or $26000. Mechanically the car drives great and the transmission shifts smooth.
I was wondering if anyone can give me any advice as to what to look for that could be going wrong with the car or to tell how bad it was beat on. Also is this a decent price for the condition and location? Im going to be performing a compression test but as for what else to do to look over the car i really dont know. Anyones input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Any way to tell if the clutch could be going? It grabs nice and hard but im coing from a car with a cable driven clutch so its much easier to feels when its worn out, i dont really know about the hydrolic ones though.
