if you noticed it when you took out the back seats, it could be your fuel pump? is your car stock? did you buy it new?

I have the same exact thing. It is not loud at all. It usually is lounder when I just start the car (when the car is cold). Once it warms up its not as loud. It also whistles a bit under acceleration. Its not the turbo (turbo is much louder). I have been wondering about it as well. Could just be paranoia!!!

You're going to notice more sounds, and even your service light always going on with all kinds of different codes . You just have to get use to it. It's just part of owning an Evo. BTW, I have that slight whistle on my car also. Enjoy the car and stop being paranoid.
