NEED HELP With Hallman MBC ....

i just installed a new hallmand mbc, triple checked Everything, turned mbc all the way out (to the minus sign), car started fine, but when i gave it throttle, it revved to about 5000 and is staying there.... ????????? any input would be greatly appreciated.......

how did you hook it up? did you run the lines directly to the wastegate and turbo nipple? did you plug the little nipple on the bottom of the intake pipe that the stock boost line goes to with a vacuum cap?

lines are run direct to turbo and wastegate, and are on the right, capped the frontmost line on the stock boost control solenoid and left electrical plugged in, backmost line on stock boost control solenoid is running to intake tube (behind m.a.f.)

take that line off and cap the nipples. don't know if that's your problem, but it shouldn't be connected anyway.

no help, as soon as i start it, it runs right to aprx. 5k, checked all connections again and all is right...........

took off the maf, upper intercooler piping, and the rad fan, nothing even close to making it do what it is doing......

Did you play with the two little bolts that hold your throttle cable to that slide plate. If you messed with them it could be that your holding the throttle body open

i dont think so, but i will double check... the only mounting bolt i touched was the one on top of the cam timing cover, but it affects nothing, just holding the steel line that goes to the bov.....
