Is my clutch slipping?

When accelerating from a roll my turbo spools at about 3500rpm, once spooling the rpms jump fast from 3500-4500 then the car mellows out but still pulls hard. The car is accelerating hard when this jump occurs it doesn't feel like rpms are just spiking and the car isn't going any where. I just swithched to a Hallman mbc from a Greddy profec b ll in addition to a eflash from TTP. This does not happen from a dig. Thanks for your input guys.

^^^ ROFL I guess you could say that too. Normally though if it does not happen from a dig, it should not happen from a roll

I dont agree with that at all. My clutch slipped in 3rd - 6th gear yet I could still launch and spin the tires from a dig

My clutch started going with what you are describing. Very slightly during spool up, then I did a couple highway pulls and I noticed it more.

That's exactly how my stock clutch started when it was slippin. It would jump about 1000 then grab, but still pulls hard. Sorry Man, your clutch may just get worst after a while. Atleast that's how mine started anyways. Of course I may be wrong. Good Luck.

Warrtalon had posted (a while back) how to "test" you clutch for slippage; in essence, you switch through your gears into 5th or 6th, making sure that your speed is BELOW 40mph (even in 6th gear) which would apply maximum load to your clutch. If your car's RPM's increase erraticly but your car does not accelerate evenly, then you're slipping...or something along those lines.

Hope it helps.

It all depends how nice you are to it. lol. You can get a 1000 miles out of it if you are nice to it without too much of an issue.
