Get number 1 without even thinking about it. It has low miles, hasn't had much screwed around with and is FAR cheaper to tune. As an example, for $2000 you can get a Vishnu V400. It takes more than $2K to make that kind of power on an VIIII. Not to mention that in terms of BLue Book Value, the IX is worth more so you are getting less car for the same money with the VIIII. Maybe if the VIIII was $5K cheaper, there would be reasons to consider it.

 

go with option #2.. leave option #1 for someone with more common sense.
