Need some opinions between 2 evos

Car 1: 06 MR ~6k miles w/ MBC and TBE

Car 2: 05 MR ~20k miles w/ MBC, TBE, intake, clutch, and flash.

Both cars are about the same price. If you had to pick one, which car and why?

1 less miles, MIVEC, hasn't had the tranny off, and the sweet 9 bumper, 2 sounds like a gamble. I wouldn't have bought a modded evo unless I knoew the guy.

has to be the 06! now its either the 06 is a bargain or the 05 is totally overpriced...

Can you be more specific? I'm talking about every aspect of the car. Power, handling, looks, etc

06 is newer, probably less miles. MIVEC, better turbo, makes more power with the same mods, does not have a beak. There must be some reason your even considering the 05 but we dont know what that is.

Lots of people traded in their 05's for 06's.. that should be reason enough.

Only reason would be more power but either way, like all you guys said, IX is the way to go.

i would choose option 1. qustions to ask about option 2 are, why is there a new clutch (previouse owner drove the pi$$ out of it, didnt know how to drive stick,or just a junk stocker). nothing i would want to deal with if there are other tranny problems. if you are only considering option 2 because of the amount of mods, you can get a intake a flash for $250
