It's true, everyone smashes up thier first car. All us older people said the same thing when we were young.

God, don't get an SUV, they are not that safe expecially with the roll over possibility. Get a good smaller car that has some handling and some power and learn how to drive it. This will prepare you for that Evo.

I am 17, and an EVO is not a suitable car for a 15 year old. Heck, I've been driving for 8 years (11 if you count the mower), and i am apprehensive about the EVO. Get a nice, used MX6 or 250sx, cause those have enough speed to help graduate you to an evo yet do not cost enough for your parents to tear you a new one if you crash it, like 4K for each.

you should really shoot for a 240sx or a eclipse gs-t. that way you will have a fun car to drive and you won't have to break the bank to get one. good luck finding a fun car!

In that nine months you better get a job and save your money if you want to insure that thing.

I would recommend spending 1-2k on a honda crx or civic 5spd, just to learn how to drive stick. Then move on to a EVO when you get more experience.
