but the question is can you afford the monthly payment for the MR? coz you can't go wrong either way, it's an EVO.

The SE is alot more limited than the IX MR. I would think the SE would have the better resale value. Get the SE!

A lot more?... No. You would get the difference of a MR more than a used SE. MR's dont gain value... hell, no Evo gains (unless modded). But they all do lose it less than most cars.

i'm also trying to make the same decision: mr or se. i think i'll go with the mr because i use the car for traveling, and an mr with the 6th gear, revs a little lower at freeway speeds. it may not be much, but after test driving both the se and mr, that little bit would seem to make a difference on a 500 mile drive. ironically though, the 6spd. evo is rated higher in gasoline comsumption than the 5spd. model.

what are the experiences in long distance traveling for 5 speed evo owners?

thanks,

ed

So on top of your sti you had to give 11.5K. I dunno man that's too much money to lose especially since they are both 06's

Damn that's too much money. I would of just gotten the SE. You should have been at least negative 4-5k not 11.5k

"stock" i know this sounds dumb but any help will be very helpful to me thanks
