Does anyone know where I can get a spare ferrule? I am trying to install a boost gauge i bought 2nd hand and the ferrule is already clamped. Any help I appreciate!

LOL good one! the ferrule is the part that clamps down on the boost gauges under some of the adapters. It is really small and just makes sure the tubing does not slip. I am pretty sure it can't be opened back up so I am looking for a new one. Real small and I bet relatively cheap part, just not sure where to get one, and was not sure where to post, but I assumed Evo general was good because this related to the boost gauge in the evo. BTW...it is an autometer boost/vac

 

That is the little "Brass" barrell that is a one time use only, crimp/crush when screwing the backing bolt on. Check Home depot/Lowes.

 

Man, I read the title too fast. I though it said "Where can I get a spare FEMALE"! Though I might get some good info!

Yeah, autozone has a whole plumbing section with the "ferrule" your looking for. They even have the kit with the capillary tubing etc.
