Trouble finding 06 Evo SE Resale value...

So, it has come time for me to trade in my Evo. I'm looking to get an SUV so that I can haul my mountain bikes around as well as my wave runner...

Anyway, I've been to 2 dealers so far and they can't seem to find a trade-in or resale value on the Evo SE! They keep giving me a value well below the RS trade-in value for this car... and it's obviously a lot more than the RS.

Can anyone tell me or point me in the right direction for this? Should we just consider the standard Evo for the trade in value? Since it's more than the RS but less than the MR, that seems normal.

Any help??

Man, your gonna lose big time if you trade in your SE. Put it up for sale private party, that thing should go quick for alot more than most trade in offers. I would be interested. SE's are rare and in demand.....right now.

We use CarPower at my dealership and you are right... the SE is not an option. They need to appraise it somewhere between the GSR and MR. But definitely sell it privately. It WILL sell fast.

Well break it down logically, new from the dealer they were how much more than the GSR? So take the used GSR price and add the 2gs or whatever...not that big of a deal. They're still relatively new so its going to be hard to find an exact number.

Just keep the evo and buy an old cheap SUV that u are gonna use just for hauling. You will lose a lot of money if you trade it in. Unless you sell it privately and be patient.

+1
especially for an '06, put it up for sale. you'll most likely get the price you want.
