Hi guys!!

I'm a proud owner of an Evo IX RS. So far, it is stock, but I'm itching to mod it. I want it to be quicker, not fastest Evo ever. According to the car magazines, they said that the RS run 13.0 sec throught the 1/4 mile. I just want to make the car brake 11's barrier in the 1/4 mile. Is it a lofty goal? Can I achieve this goal with the stock turbo? Stock long block? Thanks in advance.

 

Look at the vendors stage packages. A tbe, mbc, fuel pump, and a tune will get you in the 11s

 

i have couple friends with basic bolt ons and methanol running 11.1-2 with 122 traps.... nothing fancy with mods... all average joe mods

 

whats your budget and what do you want to achieve?

 

Very interest in this "combination".

So, my goal of running 11's in the 1/4 mile is not too hard then.

 

Cams + Green + Meth. You'll be there in no time, but driving the car plays the biggest role.

 

Maybe 3 minutes of searching would answer these questios, man. Did you not bother to look first? 11s on a IX is cake on the stock turbo. Stock motor? Come on, that's 10s.

I am planning getting it in the next couple months, ive started so many different projects including college the money has never been there everytime i think it is.
I am glad to hear the IX is easy to get into the 11s as I was looking to get mine to mid 11s once I got it.

oh i can launch, 2 1.65 60's that night and on my best run a damn 1.73. It was also hot and humid.

 

How come I don't see you run 11's then? Stop being a jack-*** please.

 

he has an evo 8 with the smaller turbo and he's run a 12.000@114 on the same mods as me.
