the greddy type-s, forge RS are both great DV's for the evo. please don't spread false info on the boards, though the MR valve is nice too for moderate(-25)boost levels.

that's right. i sold mine within a week of having it. had a greddy RS, JDM MR, and type-s since and the type-s is what's on now, and definitely feeels the best.

what does the S hold boost wise?

I've been debating ditching the stock ix bov for a recircing type s since the forge sucks.

cheers!

haven't maxed it out, but with some stiffness left to add, it held 25psi fine when i boost checked my system. just don't single spring mod it, they suck like then, leak at idle!

which forge? from what i hear(haven't tried one), the forge RS works well.

i think the type-s will hold that. like i said, i don't have it at it's stiffest and it doesn't leak at all up to the 25 i test my system at, and on my 529whp civic i ran a type-s with a 60-trim turbo at 28psi.

Maybe... never seen one used, only ones I've seen in action are either Type RS or Type R (HEAVY DUTY)
