also i hope u didnt remove the undertray.. that would be real noobish thing to do in such a high dust air....

yeah i would stick w/ stock airbox with drop-in filter then an open filter like buschur in your area.... i have the same buschur intake but mine still looks new after 2000 miles in NJ

If it were me, living in Utah, I would run the stock airbox with a works, ralliart or other quality filter.

OEM paper drop-ins "filter" the best.

But to answer your question, if you were tuned for an intake it's best to get retuned if you put the stock airbox back in. At least that's what I would do.

You should pm TTP as it looks like they did your flash. I'm sure they will give you a clear answer.
Thanks for the feedback!
I will send my rom to TTP for another reflash.
I also went ahead put the stock airbox back on and no issues. I am going to log it to be safe. I miss the whoosh sound, but the car definately pulls harder.

No I did not remove the undertray.
I had mine for over 12,000.
I am going to try k&n recharge kit and see what it does.

Swapping the stock air box for a Buschur filter will give a passive boost increase. That alone tells you the stock box IS restricting power.

Just clean it with every oil change and keep the intake you already have. Why spend more money when you already have a great intake?
