Help!!

Just hooked up my new AFC Neo. Got the instructions from evotuners.net all was going well until i started the car. Runs like $%^. Stock fuel system. Left air/fuel curve at 0% and it falls on its face. I went through and did all inital settings (4cyl, etc). Unfortunately I dont know if the car was ever flashed by previous owner (it did runa bit rich). But does anyone have any ideas? Also, I went to check the sensors and I got -- as a result for Karman... Should I see a value there? I know our MAF communicates in Karman.

Help please! On the fly!

I don't know if the Neo is any different, but with the SAFC I&II, you just have to make sure all the settings are correct. Go back and make sure the settings didn't get initialized back to stock. If it's on 6cyl or not set to Karman, it will run like crap. Even if there was a flash previously, it wouldn't run like crap with the SAFC set to 0.

Btw, why did you bother to buy an SAFC instead of just getting a flash?

Just looked deeper into it... Not reading Karman... Double-checked everything and all wires are hooked up correctly. (followed an AFC-II diagram, and double-referenced it with Road Race pin-out). Ideas???? Other wires supposed to be used???

You're not reading the mas. Check the wiring and make sure that the mas is plugged in!

Yes, you may need to doublecheck that specific ECU wire connection, check the MAF plug, and check AGAIN to make sure it's set to Karman. I've seen it change randomly before.

im having the same problem and yes my maf is plugged,even changed it with my friends just to see still getting P102 code. its set to karmen,4 cyl. and did the throttle settings I READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. is the wiring different from SAFC 2? Ive even disconnect the NEO and still same result (didnt put all wiring back to stock just disconnected the unit)

I had mine (SAFC2) with the MAF bypassed directly to the unit and it worked great for years
