Yeah i just got my evo ix yesterday and i noticed that i don't have anywhere to turn on fog lights, does that mean i dont have them??? what do i do to get them or make them active? thanks, and sorry for the newb question.

 

you have them, they are the innermost bulbs in the headlight housings. you HAVE to turn on the main headlights on FIRST, THEN hit the foglight button which is a square button to the lower lefthand side of your steering wheel.

I'm pretty sure this is in your owner's manual too, you should definitely look there.

 

Do you have an RS?? If so then you have no fogs

 

u can just look at the headlight and tell if u have a fog or not.

 

+1 RS no, any other IX, yes, inside, left of steering wheel, little bit lower of midsection, headlamps on first

 

Some doesn't come with fog lights. I think it depends on the package that comes with your Evo. If yours had HID then yes, if not then no.

Like other mentioned, it's on the lower left side where the dimmer switch are.

 

just check to see if you have that button heh.

 

The IX's DO NOT come with fogs. The lamps are there but there are no relays bulbs etc. Unless it was the SE package it doesnt have it.

 

the only IX's that have fogs are the SSL, MR, and SE. if you have the normal IX or the RS, you don't have HID's or fogs from the factory.

 

RIGHT. Like the plain 'ol NINE. Like mine. No fogs.

While this is kind of going off-topic, the foglights are actually quite effective. I don't use them all the time, but when I was finally driving during a foggy night, the foglights really did a good job at increasing visibility when I turned them on for the first time in a while.
