What are your guys thoughts on the ETS Intercooler?

I have been reading reviews on here about it and the majority of people who have purchased it say that it is a quality piece.

Here are the specs on it:

**40% Larger Than Stock**
Fills Whole Grill
Bolt on design retains crash beam
25x11.5x3.5" Bar & Plate Core
1120cfm--750hp-80% efficiency
Pressure Checked at 35psi
Eliminates excessive piping

The ETS Mitsubishi Evolution Intercooler is the best on the market, bar none. It features bolt on installation and fills the whole grill with core for a killer look and maximum efficiency. This unit also retains the factory crash bar and splash pans. With a power rating of 750hp this intercooler will not need to be upgraded as your power level increases. The kit includes the intercooler, mounting hardware, silicone couplers, and SS T-Bolt Clamps.

I am debating between this and the AMS because I want to keep my crash bar and undertray. Which would you guys choose.

As a Vendor, I'm thinking about carrying their FMIC as I've done a little research. Have not got one in my hands yet though. Got side tracked. As a consumer, I'll probably run one as I like the fact that you have to delete NOTHING to run it, and it seems to be a great core for the average Joe and up to not so average.

just ordered one

Tom at ETS replies to my pm's within 8-12 hours every time and their pieces all look top notch quality

every write up I see on them is two thumbs up and like Zeus said it requires no changes in the crash bar or anything

ETS for the win.......they have excellent customer support and very stand up vendor. They have quality products. Check out the NW Forums in the community and you will hear nothing but great things about them. Good luck on your decision.

I run the ETS Fmic as well. Put down 431/403. Also saw another one with their fmic and 35r kit putting down 600 whp. I pressure tested my core the day I got it and it all came back great. The fmic fits the grill well. All in all this is a great core.

wow great feedback.

I am more curious as to why you guys would choose this FMIC over the AMS. I do not know much about FMIC, hence the reason why I am asking. Which FMIC would perform better and why? I am not concerned with looks as I am performance.

I feel that The AMS and ETS would take care of any thing you guys could throw at them

Im pretty sure If I didnt have my Nisei Competition FMIC already on the car I would have purchased this intercooler. Fitment and quality seem to be top notch.

Thanks for the help but I have already seen both of those.

I am more concerned with which intercooler will perform better.

I eventually plan on going Evo green with meth and full bolt ons if that matters.

Get a Bushur Race FMIC, and it will take anything you can throw it.
