Is this my problem?!

Well guys, I think I might have found my problem, but I want some people to verify it first. For about two weeks I have been trying to find out why I can't boost over 12psi and why my car sputter's and has a really hard time picking up speed once it hits around 12psi. Today, while driving I held the gas pedal about half wot and kept it in the same spot without letting off and sure enough once I hit 12psi it starts to sputter and hesitate really bad and wont build more boost. And I listened and realized that air is fluttering like crazy out of my hks ssq bov! (Remember, I didnt let off the gas at all!)

Could this be why I cant boost more than 12psi and why my car is sputtering/hesitating like crazy??

hks is junk on our cars, that is not your prob. your w/g is stuck, or the vac. lines are broken, or your b/c isnt working.. why do keep stepping on the gas when you know there is a problem..

that fluttering is the exact reason why these bov's are not good on evo's.

No, This began before any of this was installed. . (I thought I had a bad wg and that was the reason for my boost problem, but I guess I was wrong)

I've been reading and searching. . Anyone think maybe my plug wires are bad or maybe one of my coil packs is shot? Would that cause it to sputter-hesitate like crazy after 10psi and not really be able to build more boost?
By the way the only check engine light im throwing is for my egr valve.

still sounds like vacuum issues. swap plugs and see, but i doubt it. you may have a major leak... did you leak test ?

forget the stealers..check for vacuum leaks yourself..way cheaper and easy to do.
