Well I just ordered the new version of the HKS SSQV w/ upper piping so I will let everyone know how it works. I'm sure I'll get flamed for buying one with the usual comments like "why'd you waste your money" and "VTA BOV's make your car run like crap". I used the last version of the HKS SSQV for a few weeks and never had any idle problems whatsoever, my car did run rich from time to time though and I never noticed any difference in performance. I have $300+ to blow so I figure I will try the new version.

instead of the stock one buy the jdm mr blow off its the best one for the car. the stock plastic one will leak boost once you start to turn it up. i had the turbosmart blow off on my car for a few days it sounds cool and all but my car surge almost every shift unless i was at full boost

So after careful consideration I decided to cancel my order of the HKS SSQV and get the MR DV and a set of WORKS cams. So no update about the BOV.
