i was just wondering if the hks filter can be used instead of the k and n filter that they equip the kit with for the intake?

 

why do you want to change it? the k&n filter that comes with the injen kit is better than the hks filter. the hks filter is a dry foam filter, which is good becuase its dry, but doesnt filter as much as the k&n. the only problem with the k&n is that if its over oiled the oil can get on your maf sensor, so youll have to clean it with a maf cleaner.

 

u shouldnt change to the hks filter....look around and search and ull see that they dont filter as well as some of the other brands....apexi, buschur,etc...
