fuel pump wont turn on

fuel pump wont turn on
I tested the pump hooked it up to a battery it turns on its a new walbro the fuse is fine in the fuse box inside the engne bay. when you turn the key the gas gauge works its just that the pump doenst come on. anybody have an answer for this one

strange that happened to me yesterday also! except my pump is about a year old. With mine, I pulled it out, pulled the housing apart and tested the pump, it started up just fine but I noticed when I pulled the housing apart the wiring disconnected really easily so it may have came loose....
