I would say your lust for the Evo X (I can only hope) will outweigh the evo 9's pulling power.

But then again, if I could get my hands on ANYTHING from an Evo to Evo 7 in the states, rest assuredly I would...

What? No it won't. The Evo IX is and likely never will be a collector car. It certainly won't appreciate in value over the next four years, following the release of (in most peoples' eyes) an all-round better Evo.

Not necessarily true. I had the fortunate experience of driving an Evo VI one evening back in 2000(the same silver model that was featured all over the tuner mags at the time). I said that night that i would buy an Evo when the time was right. I bought my IX last Oct.
