Going with this exhaust setup

well, I got the ebay TB exhaust after reading positive reviews on here. I am going to replace the TP with a Helix HFC. Just feel a bit better doing that. I was gonna leave the stock cat initially but then read too much on here that said it would be a waste of time to still have that on there.

Are you looking for affirmation or are you just stating a fact? I think it's a good idea that you decided to go for a HFC though. It should be a quieter ride.

well just had it put on. Love everything except the dip before the muffler that gets close to the ground. Seems to have a mild drone and sounds loud when at WOT but that is about it. Was pissed though...one weld broke....but it was actually better that it did for the fitment lol

LOL yeah but otherwise no issues. Fitment was fine. Just a weld broke.

Just a note...as you already have the install...but I gained 27 whp w/a test pipe. I had basically the same set up as you...Jun BL cat back...after adding a TP and a tune, I climbed from 279 to 306 whp. I'm sure the HFC will allow your some gain...but better--freeing--exhaust is what helped push me to 345 whp.

Not advice, of course...just sharing experience. Good luck w/the HFC.
