People say that the 6 speed is the con, being poorly matched for drag racing. I like it for the street though. I like the MR's suspension, defenate pro. Rareity especially for the 2008 model.

I would get 05 GSR w/o ssl package. You can by a used bilstein suspension for cheap if you like stock-like suspension. I think the 6 speed is overrated.

The turbo isn't any bigger than the regular EVO's. Its a 16G so its not big at all. It is bigger than most stock turbos on other car, but not really considered big. Lag isn't really a issue. Ecspecially once you start to mod it.

Wow, just wow. This is the epitome of not following the rules of searching before posting a new thread and using the newbie forum before posting where the big boys are...

it does have lag under 3200 rpms. if you're in the wrong gear, like 4th instead of third, and you hit the gas, it will take about 1-3 seconds to catch up. i'm bone stock. it's a diffrent story when it's modded. very fun all around car to own. chicks will hate it. that's a downside.

Huh? That's not any different on an MR than other models, so it's not applicable. Also, 4th will spool earlier than 3rd, so your example didn't make sense.

You said it in reference to rpm. 3200rpm in 3rd vs 3200rpm in 4th - 4th will spool sooner and without lag from 3200rpm...

Push in Clutch, grab shifter, push forward into 3rg, floor throttle
