Right power for mods?

Just checking to see what you guys think. I got the evo dynoed last week. I put down 278hp/268tq in my best of 3 runs.

My mods are:

3 inch turbo back
Hallman at 20psi
Injen Hard Intercooler pipes
Hks Rs intake
TTP flash

Let me know what you guys think.

Dynos are not all equal. We need to know the type of dyno, the correction factor, the elevation, and the weather conditions.

On a Dynojet, that's somewhat weak, but it may not be a Dynojet. 20psi is also barely above stock, so you could run 21-22psi and make more power without any risk if you wanted to.

The money spent on the Injen pipes and HKS intake could have been used towards a fuel pump, JDM MR DV, and a set of cams. Your car would be a completely different animal, but it wouldn't have as much bling.

It was on a dynojet in 93 degree heat. Im in Pa and dont really know the elevation. I am actually waiting on my fuel pump, wanted to get some numbers before and after. Tune is not custom

Absolutely no reason to get before and after numbers for a fuel pump - it doesn't add power. It's just a safety mod...

Well from the info given i would say your not down on power, but it also sounds like there is power left in it. Get a ix bov, cams fuel pump and then get a custom tune if possible. You shouldnt have a problem running 21-22psi either.

So, the before and after is for the base vs custom tune, not the fuel pump.

so your going to spend $400+ to pick up maybe 10hp? Might as well start putting things away and do a few things at once that way you actually get your monies worth out of the tune. My suggestion would be o2 housing, cams, and fuel pump at minimum. You could also do a ix turbo for about $400 and maybe even meth if you would like to see some real nice gains.

+1 why arent you making 22psi its completely safe and you might break 300whp on that dyno.
