not a surpise..its a fast sports car(evolution is reclassified as a sports car)...its a good thing and a bad thing...now not just any kid can afford this car so itll keep it rare..and actually the the less cars on the road the better...means less accidents..

The problem is misplacement of money. A guy gets $1000 in his pocket, and he goes and slaps on mods to make his Evo faster, when in reality he cant handle the stock car. Its sad, but too many people play the horsepower game on these boards and never get even close to learning how to drive properly.

You know just because im only 20 years old im labeled? Come on, I've bought two evo's by myself without a cosigner, my own insurance and with out mommy or daddy's help! My insurance is high 370 a month. Its sucks yes but you pay to play! Once i get older it will go down...

I started practing real estate right out of high school and make 150k-200k a year! Just because some of us are young does NOT mean we are stupid, immature or dont know what we are doing! At what age are you considerd smart enough??? I know someone who is 58 years old and crashed his evo being dumb... Stereo typing is not cool!!!! So you guys who think its just stupid kids, think about what you where doing when you were my age??? It nots just evo owner kids who crash, id be willing to bet its more of fender benders and windshield claims that hike it up! NOT YOUNG PEOPLE!!!

Ok im done venting!

Your rates will go down as long as you have a good record, get older, married, etc.

I only pay about $80/month, full coverage and have been since day 1.

Im 18, I pay 145 a month. My agent suggested that we keep my previous car (an se-r) on the policy and make my dad the primary driver of the evo. Now I pay for him to be on the evo and me to be on a car I dont even have and its still cheaper than if I were to just be primary driver. I actually saved $155/month.
