Well since the dealer is trying to pull some shady stuff with the car they said they are going to do it for me. Had to order a part and it should be done tommorow or tuesday. I hope it just gets fixed correctly.

Sorry to hear it, I can certainly sympathize. I went through the same experience and I will remember from now on that those who work at dealerships work on commission. Enough said.

so the warrant has to say "YOUR CAR CAN NOT BE MODIFIED. ANY MODIFICATIONS TO YOUR CAR WILL VOID YOUR WARRANT." and if it doesnt, then they have to do it by law even if they say "no" to avoid lawsuit?

no I believe the Moss Act makes the Dealership or Car Company prove that "such mode caused such problem" before their can be a void in warranty coverage. At least this is how I understand it.

+1, and that can be expensive for them

Does anyone know if when you go in for simple service such as oil changes if the dealership records your mods done... just wondering if you could bring it back stock later and they might have it on record
