I have a Avcr and I had the boost sensor tapped off the fuel regulator. It read boost just find and I had no problems with it.

But recently ive been searching on the forums about different boost sources to tap. So i decided to move it off of the fuel pressure regulator because i read that its not to good to have it there.(Even tho majority of us have it there )


So tried another popular spot the vaccume line on the right side of the regulator.

Results: Car seems to idle better, Boost reads alittle different,

so Im concerned on which source reads more accurate.

anybody know?

is the vaccum reading going to be the same for the evo8 and evo9?
cuz at idle, my car has a reading of about 24 in of vac....

 

It all depends on what mods you have. You can't really compare it to other cars cuz each car react differently.

 

im completely stock....
im thinkin maybe the source for the stock vac gauge wasnt the way to go when i put in my new boost gauge

i think i might move the sender and see what happens
