Well, I'm selling my GTI and GSX to buy an evo IX. I already started talking to the dealer I work at about getting one. And Don hearing also. I was going to get boned on my trade in, and be upside down 5 grand. I was also going to put 3k down. So my dealer couldn't find me an evo, so I called Don hearing. They worked up $658 a month, being 5 upside down, and putting 3 down. I don't know the rest of the details. apr, ect. THEN my dealer found me one in Minnisota and they got me $670 a month, AND I have to go pick it up from Texas to Minnisota. 2200 miles round trip, but I'd fly. I'v got my GTI sold for what I need to pay it off. And the money I had, i paid off on credit card, and will have my other paid off this or next month. Hopfully this will help my interest rate. Once I have the GTI note done with, I'll be calling Don Hearing again, and buy the greatest thing known to MAN!!!!!

Wow, that had nothing to do with the thread title. Anyway, I have some things lined up for the IX. I'm going to use my Hallman pro rx from my GSX, and get a panel filter. Also RNR down pipe, I need to buy an test pipe, and have a Topspeed cat back. All 3 in. boost gauge a pod. hopefully I can find a Defi D gauge. That will happen as soon as I get the car home from Dallas and on my lift. then very soon after, I'm thinking GSC S2 cams, fuel pump, and some kind of tune/flash. I want to have a 93 oct tune, and a 110 oct tune. If I need to buy an afc I will, but I don't know my options there. Do I need anything else to run high enough boost for race gas?? I know my buddy with an 05 had to buy a forge wastgate cause his boost was pettering out with meth. I may do a few other things in there too. full carbon fiber spoiler (cleared on the sides) I have 2, and will have another soon if anyone maybe be interested. some mild lowering springs, jdm badge ect. once I get that performance stuff done I want to leave it alone for a while.
How long will my clutch last with the occasional race gas usage. probably only 2 or times for the track.
