TBE hp increase

Ok, so im about to order several parts such as a boost gauge, hallman mbc, fuel pump, and an intake. I dont want to get a tbe because i dont like the sound of a louder exhaust, so i wanna keep mine stock. Would a tbe create alot of power, cause i want as much power as possible but am i missing out by not getting a tbe. Oh and i am getting flash/tune.

if you don't free up the exhaust, you don't even need the rest of those parts and a tune.

You defiantly don't need the FP if your not going to free up the exhaust. You could get away with just a MBC and a Tune, but you'll get a lot more out of the tune with a TBE.

Definetly get a 3" TBE. I feel the same way about the exhaust noise, that's why I went w/ a HFC and a quiet muffler (Fujitsubo RM01A). The Fuitsubo RM01A is super quiet and still flows great. I agree w/ the guy above, w/ out a TBE you wont need those other mods. TBE and a tune should be your first mod.

if u wanna free up HP but keep the noise relatively low, get the fujitsubo exhaust and get a 2.75 dp instead of a full 3. also get a highflow cat

FUel Pump
Jestr Tune

With Factory exhaust Car Put Down 290 Whp at 22 psi on a mustang Dyno

Replaced factory exaust with 3 in TBE
Replace Hotside to 10.5
Replaced Exaust manifold
Jestr Tune

With these mods re dyonoed Car put down 331 Whp at 22 psi on same Dyno

Exhaust and at least a downpipe too. The factory dp is a big restrictor as well. Then if you want, move on to the FP, but a good tune for sure after the mods are on. Intake is probably not necessary.

You could always keep the stock CB and throw on a testpipe. My advice would be to get a full 3'' system and use a HFC. I'm going to be running a full 3''system but keeping the stock cat for emissions/earth friendly vehicle as its my DD. The cat will probably rob me of 10 hp but I will make it up elswhere. Definitley go with a boost guage, it will come in handy. You shouldn't need a fuel pump unless you plan on doing a lot more mods.

Because of a mix up, there was a point where for a couple of weeks I was rolling around with a Works 3 inch Downpipe and Cat delete but had to run the factory catback. I was surprised to find a noticable increase in power. It wasn't any louder. Rumbled slightly deeper but I definitley noticed a gain in power. I always assumed if somebody wanted quiet and was willing to give up a little HP you could run a 3 inch DP, Cat delete (straight through, no resonator) factory catback with a gutted stock muffler. It just seems like a lot of money to spend and not be able to realize the full power potentil.

Anyway, just a thought. However, with thta said, You can't really have both. Quiter=more restrictive. More HP=less restrictive=louder

I honestly don't like the exhaust to sound insane as well. I went with buschur's tbe (HFC) and bullet muffler. It's pretty close to stock in my opinion at idle. It doesn't really get loud until you get on it. But definately with just that mod, prior to a flash and a couple other things I did, the difference is night and day. Please don't skip the exhaust, its an awesome mod.

I've got the buschur with bullet muffler and love it. didn't think I wanted a louder exhaust either but definitely glad I got it now. it's not bad at all and sounds great.
