Ive seen the LS1 EVO swap, but what about a 2JZ?
If an LS1 will fit, so will a 2jz. Im curious as to how hard this swap would be. Blasphemy or not, I think it would be original. Custom subframe, wiring, driveshaft...
The rear end in an S2k cant handle much in the way of power. The 2jz engine is stout although doing so take away one of the Evos biggest tactical advantages (AWD). I have seen guys put 4g63t into older 911's though.
Why not try a RB26 and keep the awd. Now that would be a beast. Im trying to get my friend to do it. He has the money to do it.

F50 new motor setup reving to 15 grand 1113whp
S7 Built motor dont recall the power
Alpina 7 series with a upgraded pully and a retuned daily driver.
GT2 just plan nasty. Upgraded turbos
GT3 Still a work in progress.
X5 Supercharged wifes car
And about 11 other cars that are stock.

R100 mazda this car is so fast my god.
M5 built motor and retuned 610whp very nice car
Range Rover Sport upgraded pulley and retuned. This truck moves out. daily driver
I asked him about putting another motor in the his evo. Besides the fact of all the time it would take to get everything done its very pointless. He has seen the V8 fiberglass evos that race in south america. They handle great and very responsive but you have to run a wider bodykit then the one APR sell's to make it handle and turn like that setup they have.
The 350Z RB26 idea i give him he said i rather put it in a car that no one would expect it to be in.
This guy is a member on here is name is Pual Angel. Pm him for pics. Some of his cars are just plan sick and nasty.

Where is this LS1 powered EVO at? a 4G63 can make as much power as you want, so why rip it out for something different. I have personally seen both 2JZ S2K's and they have S14 rear ends and haul ***, as far as I am aware they have not raced any EVO's.
