i prefer getting tune. I have injen intake with cone filter. Car runs fine but have slight problem of idle time to time. Never had problem with stock rubber intake with cone filter.

lol i understand. But a tune is expensive, i just wanted to do a small mod. So your saying there is no intake on the market to where you wouldnt need a tune?

I think its silly to get an intake just for the bov sound and yes you have to get tuned.

just take off the lid to your intake box and youll be able to hear the bov. if you are on a budget then you are going to have to do alot more searching and install mods that dont require a immediate tune.

i dont believe you need to get it tuned, you are all acting crazy, he just wants the noise not performance, it wont hurt the car to have the filter, but it wont really help it much either.

i agree with stiggy. But if you wanted an intake that causes as little problems as possible i woulda gone with the apexi, it works better with the maf and give sit a less turbulant reading... but really, if you just want cool sounds... don't spend the $, and if you want to get the most out of your then just give it to TTP.

On another note, its nice to have a tactrix calbe for yourself anyways, you can play around and get to know your own car better... or blow your engine..
