are other guages besides boost really...

i was reading post from other threads about guages. i was thinking that honestly is more then just a boost guage really needed? i.e. oil pressure, egt etc... maybe for high horsepower aplications but for daily driving and stuff does it just really become more of a look then something that is really needed?

I think the oil pressure is quite important...low oil could result in turbo damage. Just think of it as safety measures. Not too expensive and eases the mind and helps diagnose issues that arise.

Oil pressure, temp, EGT, they all matter no matter what the modifications. It's just a matter of if you want a better view of what's going on in your engine or not.

boost and oil pressure will keep your car alive, the rest is good to have, but those are needed IMO

On my Subie WRX wagon i'll be runing Defi Blue Racer Boost, Oil Press gauges, AEM Uego wideband and a Stewart Warner GUS shift lite. Really those except the shift lite those are the main gauges you should run.

I run Boost and EGT in my Supra but I am looking to switch the EGT for Oil Pressure because several people I talked to said that if you notice the EGT climbing it is already too late. Not sure how true this is but I'd feel that I could get more use out of the Oil Pressure
