Hello everyone, Ive been visiting this forum for awhile now and i finally decided to sign up. I bought a new EVO IX SE almost a month ago and i love every bit of it. I do have some questions though if someone doesnt mind answering them ( i know i know... use the search tool, but if i do it this way i dont have to go to multiple pages).
1) Why do a lot of people dislike the Warrenty?
2) How does the maintence work? like How do i know when to take it in for maintnence at the dealership?
3) Washing the car once a week bad for the paint? i heard washing a car too many times is bad... reason for me asking is that theres a faded spot on my car and its bothering me!

Sorry for the picture quality... couldnt find my camera so i used my phone... anyways... what is that? how do i fix it? IS IT PAINT CANCER?!
4) Is there a turbo timer that can be placed somewhere on the car without cutting a slot for it? like Taped on or Velcro....
5) Ive been wanting to get a Navigation / DVD system for my car... anyone know a good one?
Im sure i have a lot of other questions but ill search the forums for the answer.
Thank you and glad to be a member.

2) Check your maintenance booklet.
3) I am a professional detailer, and the answer to that is yes. Washing your car too much causes all those light scratches in your clear coat. As far as that "faded spot" in your paint, I don't think that was caused by washing your car too much. Have you taken a buffer to your car or anything of that sort?
4) Sure, whatever you desire.
5) Personally, I'm not sure, I haven't dealt with any aftermarket navigation units myself, I'm sure a website like Crutchfield can direct you properly for a quality product.
2) I did... i saw the severe and the other one... just wonder if i make an appointment with them or what... just wanted to know.
3) No, i didn't take any kind of buffer to it. Theres a light scratch on it... could it be that the paint got exposed? Any solutions to fix this?
Oh and those Rexpeed Vortex Generators, are they the same or as good as the stock ones for the MR? just wondering cuz they are cheaper in price.

In regards to your blemish, if you know how to properly go about the wet sanding process, then I'd suggest that for that spot. However, if you don't know to do this, I'm not sure what else to say over the internet. It is a little hard to tell what is wrong over a computer screen.
Hope that helped.
