My EVO 6 GT Widebody :-D
It is a time attack car that my company uses in the local time attacks.
The kit is from VARIS racing concepts. The arches are functional in that they allow us to run 17 x 10" wheels with 255 40 R17 rubber without rubbing. Traction is a big problem for us.
The carbon fibre boot, bonnet, roof give us the advantage in weight reduction (especially the boot). There will also be an FRP rear doors, plexiglass for the rear and side windows. The canards and GT Wing are for additional downforce. There are also rear canards, diffuser and front under diffuser to go on.
Rivets for the race look.
It is easier to replace panels if they fall off on the track (hopefully not) rather than sending it back to the bodyshop to have everything smoothed out again.
Absolutely right, to each his own. :-D It was designed to be a little bit of an attention getter regardless of whether the attention is good or bad. It is not really an everyday car even though it has tax, insurance and passes emissions tests.
The eyelids are stuck on by the previous owner and can't seem to get them off without damaging the lamp assembly.

You don't get it do you? It's a time attack car/race car. The wide body fenders are to allow for wider tires to be fitted, which results in more traction. The wing and canards are for downforce, which means even more traction and higher cornering speeds. Get a clue, guy.
The body kit was not meant solely for looks. It's a functional aero kit.
