My EVO 6 GT Widebody :-D
It runs about 500 hub horsepower on a dynapack with 490 ft lb of torque atw. That's on 105 octane at 2.0bar. On 95 Irish octane (prob 93 or 92 Octane anywhere else), it runs ~ 400 whp with 400 ft lb of torque on dynapack at 1.4bar. We've gone very conservative with the tune as it is meant to be driven on the track as well as on the road.
Sorry, but I think you ruined a perfectly good car with that crap. Ditch the carbon fiber crap hanging off the front fendors, it looks silly and doesn't belong there and then I might like it. But that junk ruins the look of the whole car.
I'm also not a fan of that wing, but its not nearly as bad as the fendor clutter.

Wooooahhh...Somebody drinking the haterade today. That car is Sick. Thank you for the pics, Definately Time attack worthy...Now get the thing on the track.
Edit: read the rest of the thread.
I'll get some pics tomorrow at the garage. It's being tidied up for our next outing in August. We have an RS drive train to go in, gearbox, transfer, prop shaft, rear diff and mounting point and retune as the boost is starting to creep due to our modifications to the exhaust and downpipe.
I'll try and get a proper pic of the engine bay then.
It's a 2.4L

....I'm another one questioning the 255 width rubber??? I comfortably run 245/40R17 boots on my VI (on an 8.5" rim) without any rubbing on the standard fenders/guards. (see pic) ...I would have thought that after going to all the trouble of fitting a widebody kit, you would be wanting to go significantly wider with the rubber??
Also - IMHO I preferred the look of the car in April, but completely understand the need for downforce - especially at the front end!!
Finally - was the carbon roof a custom piece? Or is it 'readily' available?
Cheers,
Doc.
PS. Loving the 'zorst exiting on the 'correct' side of a VI!!!

We run the car on Yokohama A048 R medium hard compound on the track. The wheels are 17 x 10 " +12 offset 5Zigen FNO1RC. The tires were recommended by VARIS, the manufacturer of the wide arch kit. The offset of the wheels are 20mm more than a stock EVO (+35 stock iirc) and there are no spacers yet. We were even recommended to put +10mm spacers on top of the different offset wheels to make full use of the arches.
The car does have a wider track but not by increasing tire width so much so as making the offset further out to fill the arches.
We could probably go even wider, maybe a 265 or 275 tire but we'll see how we manage with traction first on the wider track and 255 tires.
The carbon roof is available from VARIS Racing Concepts. www.varis.co.jp
The main points of the car are :
1) Apexi Isamu RX6 TCW77LS p25 turbo kit
2) 2.4L Couture Auto Spec Bottom End
3) Couture Auto Spec Head
4) Apexi Power FC D Jetro Version with AVCR Boost Controller
5) Apexi Titanium R95 Exhaust (modified from an EVO 7/8/9 R95 exhaust)
6) Weight Reduction (sound proofing, dry carbon roof, bonnet, boot lid)
7) Aerodynamics (front and rear diffuser, front and rear canards, undertray)
8) Wider Wheel track
Thanks for all the comments guys. Any constructive criticisms are welcome :-D
