Tein lowering springs

Hey there

I was wondering if anyone is using the Tein lowerinsprings for a Evo MR

I know that it lowers the car but does it also improve handeling. i know lower center of gravity betterhandeling but ive also heard that it might mess up my suspension setup.

Would u sugjest getting them. i dont care about ride comfurt. i just want it to be sitting on rails

Let me know thanks

Tein springs are going to ruin your Bilstein shocks. Your going to need springs that are made for your shocks. I currently run WORKS springs and the ride is just like stock and it drops it 1.2". Swift is also another one that are made for MR shocks. I know there are a few more but I can't seem to remember them.

Works or Swifts seem to be the forum favorites.

while I don't disagree. If all the OP is looking for is to drop the car now (as he said, "sitting on rails") then I don't think you can go lower for less money. The Teins just will not improve much more then looks, and long term affects will cost you more. as the_window said, they can (but not always) will blow out oem shocks

your probably better off saving a little bit longer for some swift or works. Save a lot of long term stress!

If I had the money and I wanted it for performance I would buy a set of coilovers to be completely honest.

I was going to go with the swift, but after seeing this thread & doing a search in EVO Show/Shine for 'springs'... ive decided that the Swift springs are not as low as im wanting. Im thinking the Tanabe GF-210s are WAY more to my liking. Good choice.
