Just purchased new mods

I just bought the following for my 06 IX:

Buschur Turboback Exhaust with HFC and bullet muffler.

Forge MBC and a boost gauge

ETS Intake

My question is after I get everything installed, should I just mail in my ECU to get it reflashed or should I take it to get tuned by a local tuner?

Where are you located? It would depend whether there are some reputable tuners in your area or not...

Ah, so you bought the exact Warrtalon package except you didn't get the Warrtalon package (so no tune). I'd head down to Lucas and have him tune it.

I definitely wouldn't mail in your ECU. If you can't get a custom tune then buy yourself a tactrix cable and get an e-mail tune. You will get a better tune than mailing in your ECU. The optimum choice though is a custom tune from a reputable tuner.

You're going to pay more for a custom tune, so I would consider what your modding goals are. If you think you're done, or at least done for quite some time, then get it custom tuned. You can't beat that. If you think you may mod more in the near future, but you want it tuned in the meantime, the mail-in isn't a bad option. You really can't beat the custom tune, but make sure you're set before you have to spend the money to get it re-tuned again.

Get a tactrix cable, download ecuflash and evoscan then contact mellon.

He is the next best thing to a custom road tune.
