Quick ICP question

Does the material(or the color of the material if its powder coated) of an intercooler pipe play a significant role in its ability to retain/disperse heat?

Just curious

Yes, different metals dissipate heat better than others. Thats why aluminum is a good material to use for I/C pipes. I don't know much about thermal dynamics but I would think the powder coating would keep the heat inside the pipes.
